Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging eLearning

A mobile‑friendly Rise 360 course that helps employees understand our organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

I developed this Diversity and Inclusion eLearning course to support all employees in understanding our organization’s commitment to creating an inclusive workplace and the role each person plays in that effort. Human Resources approached me with the content already gathered and a storyboard in place, so my focus was on transforming their material into an engaging, accessible learning experience that employees could complete anytime, on any device.


I chose Rise 360 for this project because its responsive design made it easy for learners to access the course wherever they were, and its rapid‑development features aligned well with our tight timeline. To keep the experience interactive and fresh, I incorporated flip cards, reveals, and knowledge checks throughout the course. These elements helped reinforce key concepts while maintaining a smooth, user‑friendly flow.


Once I established the visual style—fonts, images, and branding—I built a two‑section prototype to give stakeholders a clear sense of the course’s look, feel, and level of engagement. After receiving their feedback and approval, I moved into full development and added the functionality the team requested. Rise made it possible to deliver a polished final product quickly without sacrificing quality.


The completed course became a valuable addition to the HR training catalog, and we successfully met our goal of making the learning accessible across all devices. Reflecting on the project, I would have enjoyed exploring a Storyline version with a character‑driven narrative to help employees apply the concepts in everyday scenarios. As I continue growing my skills in both Rise 360 and Storyline 360, I’m excited to create even more interactive and meaningful learning experiences.
